One system for the whole life of a website
Most business websites are stitched together: a builder or CMS, a hosting account, a handful of plugins, a form service, an SEO tool, and someone who has to keep all of it updated. When one piece breaks, the website does too.
We built Orbit so that none of that is your problem. Every client gets a private account, a design made for their brand, and an address of their own. We run the platform underneath, and the people who built it are the people you call.
The parts of a website you should not have to think about
These come with every website on Orbit. None of them is an extra plugin to install and keep updated.
A design that is yours
Each website has its own design, built for that brand. It is not a shared template with a different logo.
Edit, preview, publish
Every change starts as a draft. Nothing your visitors see changes until someone presses Publish.
Fast pages
Pages are prepared ahead of time and delivered from a network close to the visitor. In our own measurements, most page views are answered in about a quarter of a second.
Your own domain, secured
A new website has a working address straight away. Connecting your own domain with HTTPS takes two DNS records.
Ready for search engines
The sitemap, page descriptions, and structured data are produced on every publish. Connect Google and Bing once to see your search numbers in the same place.
Enquiries that do not get lost
A form submission is saved first and emailed second, with spam checks along the way. If the email is delayed, the enquiry is still there.
From an edit to a live website, in four steps
The whole website goes live at once, or not at all. A visitor never lands on a half-updated page.
Edit
Change text, images, pages, or the menu from the admin. Your changes are saved as drafts.
Preview
See the draft the way a visitor would, before anyone else can.
Publish
Orbit builds the full website, checks it, and switches visitors to the new version in one step.
Go back if needed
Each publish is kept as a complete version, so an earlier one can be brought back.
Ask for a change in plain language
AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT can connect to Orbit and do the same work a person does in the admin, with that person's permissions and nothing more. "Add a team page" or "translate the services page" becomes a draft in minutes.
The connection uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard AI assistants use to work with other software. The assistant signs in through Orbit's own sign-in page, so it never holds a password.
It is a large part of how we build and update websites quickly. The assistant's work is still a draft until it is published, and anything it can do can also be done by hand.
Your website and your data stay yours
Every client account is separate. One account's people, content, and form submissions are never visible to another.
Analytics and advertising tags load only after a visitor accepts cookies. And because a published website does not depend on outside services to show a page, it keeps being served even when an email or search tool is having a bad day.
Ready when the website needs more
Switched on per website, without rebuilding it.
Orbit FAQs
Is Orbit a website builder like Wix or WordPress?
No. Orbit is not a do-it-yourself builder. It is the platform we use to build and run the websites we deliver. We design and build the site; your team edits the content and publishes when ready.
Do I need technical knowledge to use it?
No. Editing a page, adding an image, and publishing are done from an admin screen in the browser. Hosting, security certificates, and search files are handled by the platform.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every website gets a working address straight away, and you can connect your own domain with HTTPS by updating two DNS records. We help with that step.
What happens if I publish something by mistake?
Each publish is kept as a complete version of the website, so an earlier version can be brought back.
Can the website be in more than one language?
Yes. A website can be published in several languages, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic, and search engines are told which page belongs to which language.
Where does Orbit run?
On Google Cloud, with pages delivered through a content delivery network so they load from a location close to the visitor.
